In recent days, the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation approved the project that seeks a headquarters for direct registration of exports and imports in the city of Rafaela. This policy was based on the opening of customs offices in cities that registered a considered export volume as is the case of Rafaela.<\/p>\n

The favorable consequence of the creation of the ZPA Rafaela was that the companies of the region, which were active in foreign trade, were able to carry out their operations directly in this city, reducing costs and speeding up their operations.<\/p>\n

Currently, the customs agency operates in the Paer Economic Activities Park, located in the northern access of the city by National Route No. 34, on land transferred in loan by the Municipality of Rafaela to the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (Afip).<\/p>\n

On this project, the author of the initiative Omar Perotti, made reference to the benefits and at the same time collects the local productive and commercial aspirations that drive and promote the need to promote local export development.<\/p>\n

The installation of the Rafaela Customs "will be a very useful tool for companies in the region to continue expanding their international markets through exports by optimizing their international insertion," he said.<\/p>\n

With the approval of the Senate, the local office will move up in hierarchy and will have the same as Santa Fe and Rosario, depending directly on the DGA.<\/p>\n

Rafaela stands out as the epicenter of the central-western region, due to the diversification of production, the solid network of agro-industrial SMEs and the importance of its export sector is reflected in the amount of its exports, which are around 500 million dollars. and in the value of the exported ton that exceeds u$s $ 5,400.
\nAccording to statistics from the Chamber of Foreign Trade (Cacex) of the Rafaela Commercial and Industrial Center and the Region, Rafael products placed on international markets grow year-on-year in terms of the volume of foreign currency entering the country.<\/p>\n

According to the report released by Cacex, in August of last year, on the performance of 2013 (those of 2014 are not fully closed yet), its associated companies sold products abroad, which meant the income of $ 494,042,919.05, when in 2012 they did it for 445.54,465.27.<\/p>\n

The data provided also indicated that in the first half of 2014, exports registered an increase of 23,52% compared to the first half of 2013, with sales of $ 150,806,468.20, against $ 122.91,505.42 in the same period of 2012 .<\/p>\n

Likewise, the work revealed that in terms of tons sold, there was a decrease as a consequence of the retraction of international markets: 90 thousand tons in 2013, against 116.66 thousand in 2012.<\/p>\n
