Customs officers will cease activities

BUENOS AIRES CITY (Urgent24) .- This Wednesday 07/01 Single Union of Customs Personnel of the Argentine Republic (SUPARA) reported that after a series of meetings with representatives of the AFIP (Federal Administration of Public Revenue) with which they had agreed that the update corresponding to all the workers of the National State was going to be carried out, this measure was even announced by the head of the organization Ricardo Echegaray.

However, this measure was not authorized by the Ministry of Economy, so the customs workers decided to carry out a measure of force: “The officials of the Ministry of Economy deny our right to collective bargaining, in a clear ignorance of what is already agreed. They contradict the salary policy implemented by the national government and permanently recognized and vindicated by union organizations ”, the SUPARA statement states.

Among the agreed measures of force are: cessation of activities on the 10th, 16th and 17th of July, from the beginning of the working day until its end.

They also established that the provision of extraordinary services, bridge hours or any type of operational modality will not be carried out on days 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of the current month.

In the coming days, the workers will establish their next steps, for which they have empowered the Board of Directors to "deepen or expand the measures of force" in order to achieve the objectives set.
