Operational Delays in Port Terminals

Due to the repeated concerns that the partners have sent us, the Customs Cleaners Center (CDA) informs its associates that members of the Board of Directors have met via online with the HEAD OF THE OPERATIONAL CONTROL AND AUDIT DIVISION II, informing them that the terminals Ports, mainly Terminal 4, are experiencing significant delays in import and export customs operations. In this regard, the Headquarters informed us that they are currently only operating with minimal staffing and are busy applying possible new human resources in order to assign more staff to meet demand more efficiently, urgently starting next week.
In turn, they highlighted that Customs is working remotely with small staff, since a large part of its staff is part of people with risk factors.

We remind all our associates, and we request that they send this information to their Employees, Dependents and Executives, the following points of prevention:
1 - They must compulsorily use a COVER MUD when performing their daily tasks. 2 - They must comply with the MANDATORY SOCIAL DISTANCE, while waiting in any establishment of ONE AND A HALF METERS (1.5 MT.) 3 - They must frequently wash their hands or use gel alcohol regularly.
We are facing a situation that affects us all, so we resort to your conscience and solidarity, to comply with all the methods of care and prevention that we already know, and in this way, prevent the spread of COVID-19.
